These Partner Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tailstart Partner App and related services ("Partner App", "Platform"). Tailstart is owned and operated by Ajarva Technologies Private Limited ("Tailstart", "we", "our", "us").

By registering on, accessing, or using the Partner App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and the applicable Partner SOPs issued by Tailstart from time to time. If you do not agree, do not use the Partner App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Partner App, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract
  • You are registering as an independent service partner (groomer, walker, trainer, or similar role)
  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and applicable SOPs
  • These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Ajarva Technologies Private Limited

2. Nature of Relationship

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are an independent service partner, not an employee, agent, or representative of Tailstart
  • Nothing in these Terms creates an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture, or agency
  • You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, licenses, tools, and statutory obligations
  • Tailstart does not control how you perform services, except to the extent required to maintain platform standards, safety, and customer experience.

3. Platform Role

Tailstart provides a technology platform that:

  • Connects service partners with customers
  • Facilitates scheduling, payments, and service coordination
  • Sets platform-wide service standards and operational workflows

Tailstart does not guarantee a minimum number of assignments or earnings.

4. Partner Eligibility & Onboarding

To access assignments, you must:

  • Complete Tailstart's vetting and approval process
  • Submit valid KYC and bank documentation
  • Accurately complete your Partner App profile
  • Accept applicable SOPs and platform guidelines

Tailstart may approve, reject, suspend, or revoke partner access at its discretion.

5. Partner Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
  • Perform services professionally, safely, and humanely
  • Follow all applicable SOPs, safety guidelines, and platform instructions
  • Maintain punctuality, reliability, and respectful conduct
  • Use only pet-safe, approved tools and consumables
  • Wear Tailstart branding, ID, or uniform when provided and required

Failure to meet these standards may impact assignments, payouts, or continued access to the platform.

6. Availability, Assignments & Cancellations

  • Assignments are auto-allocated based on availability, location, skill, and performance
  • You are responsible for keeping availability accurate at all times
  • Repeated cancellations, no-shows, or late arrivals may result in penalties or removal
  • Tailstart may reassign or cancel assignments due to operational, safety, or customer-related reasons

7. Service Standards & SOP Compliance

You must strictly comply with all Partner SOPs applicable to your role, including:

  • Assignment flow steps
  • Photo, video, and checklist requirements
  • Customer interaction and safety protocols

SOPs may be updated from time to time and are binding upon continued use of the Partner App.

8. Payments, Earnings & Payouts

  • Earnings are calculated per completed and approved assignment
  • Payouts are processed at intervals determined by Tailstart, subject to change
  • Bonuses or incentives are discretionary and not guaranteed
  • Incomplete, cancelled, disputed, or non-compliant assignments may not be eligible for payout
  • Tailstart reserves the right to withhold or adjust payouts in cases of suspected fraud, policy violations, or unresolved issues.

9. Ratings, Reviews & Performance

  • Customers may rate and review services
  • Ratings impact future assignments and incentives
  • You agree not to manipulate, influence, or solicit ratings dishonestly

10. Safety, Incidents & Emergencies

You agree to:

  • Prioritise pet, customer, and personal safety at all times
  • Immediately report incidents, injuries, or emergencies to Tailstart
  • Pause or stop services if conditions are unsafe

Tailstart is not liable for incidents beyond its reasonable control.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Solicit customers for off-platform services
  • Misuse customer or platform data
  • Perform services under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Use abusive, discriminatory, or threatening behaviour
  • Falsify records, photos, or completion data

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

12. Intellectual Property & Branding

All Tailstart branding, content, and platform materials remain the property of Tailstart.

You may use Tailstart branding only as permitted for service delivery and must cease use upon termination.

13. Data Use & Confidentiality

You may access customer data only for service completion.

You must not:

  • Store, share, or reuse customer data outside the platform
  • Contact customers for non-service purposes

Confidentiality obligations survive termination.

14. Suspension & Termination

Tailstart may suspend or terminate your access:

  • For SOP or Terms violations
  • For safety, legal, or operational concerns
  • At its discretion, with or without notice

You may stop using the Partner App at any time.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Tailstart is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Tailstart's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to you for the assignment giving rise to the claim

16. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tailstart from claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Your services
  • Your conduct
  • Breach of these Terms or SOPs

17. Changes to These Terms

Tailstart may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of the Partner App constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.

18. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.

Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
