These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tailstart ("we", "our", "us") and all associated products, features, and services ("Services"). By using Tailstart, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Tailstart's app, website, or services, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood these Terms
• You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
• You have the authority to act on behalf of the pet you register with us

If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you must stop using the Services.

2. What Tailstart provides

Tailstart offers a platform that connects pet parents with pet-care services such as grooming, training, walking, and other pet-related solutions that may be introduced over time.

We may update, expand, pause, or discontinue any part of our Services at our discretion.

3. User responsibilities

By using Tailstart, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about yourself and your pet
• Ensure your pet is healthy, non-aggressive, and up-to-date on vaccinations
• Disclose any medical conditions, behavioural concerns, or special care needs
• Ensure a safe environment for our staff during doorstep services
• Pay all dues associated with the Services

We reserve the right to refuse service if a pet poses a safety or health risk.

4. Bookings and cancellations

• Bookings can be made via the Tailstart app or website.
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation charges.
• We may reschedule or cancel a booking due to emergencies, weather, operational issues or safety concerns.

5. Payments

• Payments are due at the time of booking or service completion unless otherwise indicated.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of taxes as displayed.
• We may update pricing or introduce new fees, and such changes will be reflected on the platform.

6. Pet safety and emergencies

We take safety seriously. However:

• Tailstart is not liable for injuries, illnesses, or events beyond our reasonable control.
• In case of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If unreachable, you authorize us to act in the best interest of your pet, including seeking veterinary care (charges borne by you).

7. Platform role and liability

Tailstart provides the platform and manages service delivery. While we strive for high standards:

• We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
• Except in cases of proven negligence, we are not responsible for loss, damage, injury or delays related to service delivery.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the platform for unlawful or fraudulent activities
• Harass, threaten or abuse service providers or staff
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the platform
• Upload harmful, offensive, or infringing content

Violation may lead to suspension or removal from the platform.

9. Intellectual property

All branding, design, text, media and software on Tailstart are owned by or licensed to us. No rights are granted to you except for limited use of the Services as permitted by these Terms.

10. Privacy and data protection

Your use of Tailstart is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

We follow appropriate measures to protect your data but cannot guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

11. Third-party links and features

Tailstart may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control or assume responsibility for their content, policies, or actions.

12. Service availability

• We may perform updates, maintenance or introduce breaks in service.
• We do not guarantee constant availability and are not liable for outages.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Tailstart:

• If you violate these Terms
• If safety or operational concerns arise
• At our discretion

You may stop using the Services at any time. Certain clauses (like liability limits, IP rights) will survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our app/website. Your continued use of our Services after updates means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Governing law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
• Any disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
