These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Tailstart ("we", "our", "us") and all associated products, features, and services ("Services"). Tailstart is owned and operated by Ajarva Technologies Private Limited. By using Tailstart, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Tailstart's app, website, or services, you confirm that:
- You have read and understood these Terms
- You are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement
- You have the authority to act on behalf of the pet you register with us
- You acknowledge that these Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Ajarva Technologies Private Limited.
If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you must stop using the Services.
2. What Tailstart Provides
Tailstart offers a platform that connects pet parents with pet-care services such as grooming, training, and walking, and other pet-related solutions that may be introduced over time.
We may update, expand, pause, or discontinue any part of our Services at our discretion, with or without prior notice, subject to applicable law.
3. User Responsibilities
By using Tailstart, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information about yourself and your pet
- Ensure your pet is healthy, non-aggressive, and up-to-date on required vaccinations
- Disclose any medical conditions, behavioural concerns, or special care needs
- Ensure a safe, accessible and hygienic environment for our staff during doorstep services
- Pay all dues associated with the Services
You acknowledge that failure to disclose relevant information may affect service quality and safety
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if a pet poses a safety, behavioural or health risk.
4. Bookings & Cancellations
- Bookings can be made via the Tailstart app or website.
- Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation charges.
- We may reschedule or cancel a booking due to emergencies, weather conditions, operational issues, or safety concerns.
- Cancellation and rescheduling fees, if any, will be communicated through the platform.
5. Payments
- Payments are due at the time of booking or upon service completion unless otherwise indicated.
- All amounts are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes as displayed on the platform.
- We may revise pricing or introduce new fees, and such changes will apply prospectively and be reflected on the platform.
- Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or cancellation of Services.
6. Pet Safety & Emergencies
We take reasonable measures to ensure pet safety. However,
- Tailstart is not liable for injuries, illnesses, loss or events beyond our reasonable control.
- In case of a medical emergency, we will attempt to contact you immediately. If unreachable, you authorize us to act in the best interest of your pet, including seeking veterinary care.
- All Costs arising from such emergencies care shall be borne by you.
7. Platform Role & Liability
Tailstart provides the platform and coordinates service delivery. While we strive to maintain high standards:
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
- Except in cases of proven gross negligence or wilful misconduct, we are not responsible for loss, damage, injury, delays or dissatisfaction arising from service delivery.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall be limited to the amount paid by you for the specific Service giving rise to the claim.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for unlawful, misleading or fraudulent activities
- Harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against service providers, staff or other users.
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt or compromise the security of the platform
- Upload or share harmful, offensive, obscene, defamatory or infringing content
Violation of this section may result in suspension or permanent removal from the platform without notice.
9. Intellectual Property
All branding, logo, designs, text, images, video, content, and software on Tailstart are owned by or licensed to us. No rights are granted to you except for limited, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use of the Services in accordance with these Terms.
10. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of Tailstart is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
While we implement reasonable security measures, you acknowledge that no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Third-Party Links & Features
Tailstart may contain links to third-party websites or services. We do not control, endorse or assume responsibility for the content, policies, actions or practices of any third parties.
12. Service Availability
We may perform updates, maintenance, or upgrades that may temporarily affect service availability.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted access and shall not be liable for outages or downtime.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to Tailstart:
- If you violate these Terms
- If safety, legal or operational concerns arise
- At our sole discretion
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Clauses relating to limitation of liability, intellectual property, governing law and dispute resolution shall survive termination.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on our app or website. Your continued use of Services after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka.
