This Privacy Policy explains how Tailstart ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you access or use the Tailstart Partner App and related services ("Partner App", "Services").

Tailstart is owned and operated by Ajarva Technologies Private Limited.

By using the Partner App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Partner App.

This Policy is intended to comply with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

We collect information necessary to onboard partners, allocate assignments, process payouts, ensure safety, and operate the platform.

a. Personal & Identity Information

Information you provide directly, including:

  • Full name
  • Phone number and email address
  • Government-issued ID details (for KYC)
  • Bank account details for payouts
  • Profile photo
  • Address or service area (as applicable)

b. Professional & Service Information

  • Partner role (groomer, walker, trainer, etc.)
  • Skills, experience, and certifications (if applicable)
  • Availability schedules
  • Assignment history and performance data
  • Ratings, reviews, and feedback

c. App & Usage Data

Collected automatically when using the Partner App:

  • Device information
  • IP address
  • Location data (during active assignments)
  • App interactions, timestamps, and activity logs
  • Crash logs, diagnostics, and performance data

d. Service Delivery Data

During assignments, we may collect:

  • Checklists, confirmations, and completion records
  • Photos, videos, or selfies uploaded for verification
  • Incident or safety reports
  • Communication logs with customers or Tailstart operations

2. How We Use Your Information

We use partner data to:

  • Verify identity and complete onboarding
  • Allocate and manage assignments
  • Process earnings, payouts, and incentives
  • Monitor compliance with SOPs and platform rules
  • Ensure safety and service quality
  • Communicate updates, reminders, and operational instructions
  • Resolve disputes, complaints, or incidents
  • Prevent fraud, misuse, or policy violations
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We may share your information only as necessary, including:

a. Service Operations

  • With Tailstart operations teams for assignment coordination
  • With customers, limited to information required to complete a service (for example, name or contact number if needed for coordination)

b. Service Providers

Trusted third parties who assist us in operating the platform, such as:

  • Payment processors
  • Cloud hosting providers
  • SMS, email, or WhatsApp communication partners
  • Analytics and monitoring tools

These parties access data only to perform services on our behalf.

c. Legal & Safety Requirements

We may disclose information if required by:

  • Law, court orders, or government authorities
  • Safety concerns involving pets, customers, partners, or the public
  • Fraud prevention or investigation

d. Business Transfers

  • Request deletion of your account and personal data

  • These obligations survive termination of your partner account

8. Children's Privacy

The Partner App is not intended for individuals under 18.

We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If such data is identified, it will be deleted.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.

Updated versions will be posted on the Partner App with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
